Dubshed, as the name suggests, is a car show that was originally just for VWs, but like all good events, Dubshed now shines some light on non-“dub” marques (thank you ILoveBass!).
In Northern Ireland, the car scene has been evolving in a big way in recent years. These guys and girls certainly have a fondness for fitment/stance/lows and it's at shows like Dubshed that we’re reminded how far things have come in a relatively short space of time.
This evolution has brought about an entirely new-wave of car culture, a far cry from Ireland’s motorsport/rallying roots, the "stance scene" has really hit a sweet spot in 2017 with plenty of builds coming out of the woodwork. The standard of car build in NI is at an all-time high, which puts events like Dubshed right up the pecking order with regards to quality of metal on show.
The social aspect of this show is another big draw, as the Irish hospitality shines through, creating a really special atmosphere. This year’s event, back at the Eikon exhibition centre, served up another big mix of styles and trends, which is why we love Dubshed. 2017 was Dubshed's 7th year - it certainly has become a huge deal on the Northern Ireland show calendar.
We’re suckers for fresh ideas and builds, which is exactly what you’ll find here, so sit back and enjoy our RollHard Dubshed 2017 show report/gallery, oh and, don’t forget to pick your favourite car and post it in the comments…
