Spanish Car Culture.
The Spanish car scene is an emerging army of car fanatics who love clean styles and stance.
The obvious question to some of you reading this is, who and what is Euro Crew? Well, Euro Crew is a Spanish collective of car enthusiasts and they also run an event in Valencia, Spain.
Euro Crew formed in 2013 and have been pushing boundaries ever since. The real turning point for these guys was December 2015, when they took the leap of faith and launched their very first event, Euro Crew Stance Weekend (ECSW), taking place in April 2016. They had some much fun the first time, it was inevitable that they would follow up with part two on 29th and 30th April 2017.
Spanish culture is about having fun, well, the sun is always shining, after all. That’s not to say people in Spain understand what these guys and girls are doing with their cars. In fact, most people in Spain just see the car as a tool to go from point A to B. Euro Crew is a sub-culture of like-minded pioneers and early adopters creating a new wave of car community in Spain. They might not be understood by everyone, but that doesn't matter at all.
The car scene in Spain is coming up fast, as more and more owners are being seduced by this expression of automotive personality. We take a look around this year's event. It was a scorcher!
The Social Club.
Social media gives us exposure to car styles from all around the world. In Spain, their builds clearly take their inspiration from all corners of the globe. Their modified European cars take inspiration from across Germany, Belgium and the UK, and that's no bad thing. Real split wheels, nice paintwork and subtle styling touches are now expected by the Spanish scene.
Whilst most of the country are catching zzzz’s at siesta time, these guys and girls are working on their cars, getting ready for the next show or meet, bringing their automotive visions to reality. Spanish car culture works hard and plays hard.
Cars might be a common thread, but it’s the people within this community who make it what it is. With a pre-show karting competition and party, Euro Crew is an event for cars, chill and socialising. If you’ve ever been to Spain, you’ll know what we mean when we say this event was pure chill. Laid back vibes, good music, good food and good people.
Euro Crew is creating a growing community that everyone in Spain can feel proud to be a part of. With things growing at the current rate, Spanish car culture is moving itself up the European ranks, fast.
A Toast to the Host.
A huge congrats to Jaume and his team for putting on such a great event. Valencia is a beautiful city and we are already looking forward to April 2018 - Valencia is calling us. Many thanks to everyone who stopped by the RollHard booth this year. We love you.
For those in the cheap seats, Valencia is about 1200 miles by road from London. So If you like your road trips sunny, get involved.
In a time where social media followers are bought and sold, human connections can sometimes sit in second place behind likes and shares. This, for us, is why automotive events have never been more important. The open road is calling you, so grab your keys and join the community. That's where RollHard will be.
See if you can spot our RollHard car of show, Axel's Deep Blue Pearl mk4 R32...
