For most, our automotive passion started in our younger years playing with models of our favourite cars and some of us are still guilty of the occasional purchase when out shopping,

Well, now it's your chance to see your car hanging up on the Hot Wheels rack in your local toy store. The Hot Wheels Legends Tour is back on UK soil and the judges will be looking for the car that best represents Hot Wheels performance, authenticity and 'garage spirit'.

The judges this year come from all corners of the UK automotive industry, our pal Jonny Smith, Helen Stanley, Ian Callum CBE and Car Throttle's Alex Kersten. The ten UK finalists will appear in front of a live audience, but only one can be chosen. You will be able to vote for your favourite, while the judges will choose the UK winner.

The UK winner will be announced in early October via the Car Throttle YouTube channel.  Then in November the 14 finalists from around the world go up against each other at the grand finale in the US to decide which car will become a Hot Wheels die-cast model.

But this isn't the only chance you get. In contrast to previous years the judges will also be choosing one of the regional finalists to receive the same honour.

Not only does the winner get a 1:64 model of their car, they will also go to the Hot Wheels facility and see the process; just like last year's winner Lee Johnstone and his awesome Volvo P1800 Gasser "Aint No Saint".

So what are you waiting for? We have submitted a few of our cars and now it's your turn to show what the UK's modified scene is made of.

All you have to do is upload a short video with some information about your car at www.hotwheelsuklegendstour.co.uk before 31 August 2022.

Good Luck.
