Rollhard Privateers Track Day – Donington Park

In June, we took over Donington Park for our first Privateers track session, no frills, just seat time and great company. With support from MSV Trackdays and sponsorship from Nitron Suspension, the day brought together some of the best of the grassroots scene mixed in with some of the best businesses of the industry.
We had mix of regulars and new faces fill the paddock, with standout builds and setups from Swift Performance and Clubsport Garage. Both crews turned up ready, bringing a proper lineup of track-prepped BMW machinery, from daily-driven missiles to full-blown track cars.
Donington’s flowing layout gave everyone a chance to test setups and get meaningful time behind the wheel. Nitron were on hand throughout the day, offering insight and showcasing the damping tech that’s made them a go to name in the suspension game.
Track time ran smoothly thanks to MSV’s crew, who kept everything tight and on schedule. Whether it was fine-tuning setups or just enjoying uninterrupted laps with friends, the vibe stayed relaxed and focused from start to finish.
The team had a great day out. Dan’s VTEC Golf ran faultlessly from start to finish, while Sunny’s B20 Turbo CR-V suffered a blown rear diff early on but, after some quick spannering, was back out putting in a solid number of laps. Eden’s freshly livered E46 looked incredible both on track and in the pits.
