10 Years.

We have come a long way in 10 years but some things haven't changed, we still build our own cars and although its far a few between due to adult things, we hang out and catch up when possible. Over these 10 years RH has grown and picked up some like minded and talented individuals which have become a big group of friends spread all over the world.

The RH recipe is simple, great cars with great owners, where lifelong friendships have been made and come together to create the content, projects and events for all you to enjoy. RH has never been a full time occupation, so what you see is what's possible when you sacrifice lunchtimes at work, evenings and weekends to build your dream. We are a long way off where we want to be and next year you will all start to see what the next chapter may hold.

In the beginning we never set out to be what RH has become, we were just a couple of guys who attended shows and posted where we had been on what were then relatively new platforms, Facebook and Instagram. Since then and thank you to the amazing support from you guys RH has proudly grown organically with no other company in background, no sponsors and no investors, RH remains an independent brand which will forever follow our tag line built not bought.

2020 was meant to be a year of meet ups and celebrations, getting round to see most of the people who helped build RH, but it wasn't meant to be. Just before the government announced further covid restrictions we had a closed meet up at a place we wanted to visit for awhile, Workshop Seventy7.

Workshop Seventy7.

After crossing paths on Instagram we bumped into David at our favorite destination, Bicester Heritage where he was displaying his newly finished Oshe Design Zero2, a 1970's 911 hotrod. Keeping the cars original lines and styling but with David's modern vision, the last of the air cooled engines from a 993 was fitted and with a host of other tasteful upgrades. Workshop Seventy7 opened its doors in 2018 and the boys at Bagged Benz UK joined them a year later, whether its a restoration or complete custom build the guys can cater for anything and build your dream, sounds cheesy but they actually can!

Situated in the Royal Ordnance Depot in Weedon it was the perfect place for us to hold a small meet and with the permission of David a few of us headed there for what would be the only time we would see each other this year. It was a very long overdue visit to Workshop seventy7 and it did not disappoint, getting to check out their current and future projects in person was inspiring and the work the guys do sets a very high standard for cars built in the UK. The shop is a true advocate for the tag line Built not Bought and we thank David and the team for allowing us to meet up and we look forward to meeting again soon
